The Importance of Constraints in Writing

The minute I said to myself, the characters have to always exist as paper dolls and they always have to be on color backgrounds, then I immediately had to be like, wow. Like you're just going to have to go kind of guns blazing if this is going to remain visually interesting at all. Yeah, no, I think those constraints become like a total inspiration.
