Using a Sensory Dat of Perception

The brain tries to minimize its prediction error. And by doing that, th the whole system will approximate this process of inference. It will reach a best guess about the causes of its sensory signals. That will be an approximation to some basin in which it can make predictions. This is called active inference. So if i am predicting, for instance, that i should be experiencing the taste of tea, well i can either up date that prediction, or i can drink some tea.
