The Importance of Moral Control

I think a lot of these people really believed what they said, at least for a while. Orwell has put his finger on things, unfortunately, that are hard to reverse. He doesn't claim to be a philosopher because never studied philosophy. That's why he never liked to use theoretical terms and won the talks of human virtues.
