God's Purpose and Procedure

God made man in his image so that god could be expressed and represented on the earth. But to say that man, just by his creation, would be able to carry out all of god's purpose is a little presumptuous. For this, he needs to be filled with the life of god, or he could never fulfil this purpose. So for god to accomplish his purpose on the earth, he needed man. If no man was here to till the ground, god would say, why waste my rain? There's no one there to till the so god needs man, and man needs god.
