There isn't much evidence that there's any sense of slowing down their production and export of oil and natural gas. In fact there is still investment in exploration and finding new resources to actually tap into. Many researchers would like to see a push away from production of fossil fuels. The eyes of the world will return to these nations in COP 27 next week and also in COP 28 in the following year to see what it is they say and what they promise going forwards.

Now, researchers have shown that this isn’t quite true and that fruit flies can actually move their retinas using a specific set of muscles, which may allow them to perceive depth. The team also hope that this movement may provide a window into some of the flies’ internal processes.
