Myra, the leader of Burnham Wood, and Robert Lemoine, this tech billionaire. I designed them very much as kind of equals of one another in many ways,. They're both prepared to lie, to get what they want. There is this underlying attraction, certainly on Myra's side, anyway. And that was very deliberate on my part, that I wanted the novel to really take a stand against social media, I suppose.
