The Politics of Snake Bites in India

There is a huge high prevalence of snakebites in India. Countries like Papua New Guinea have made great strides in snake bite treatment. The technology exists today globally to make a robust anti-venom for India that would work 100% of the time. Unfortunately, it's a poor persons disease. There's only farmers in day-wage laborers who are getting bitten by snakes until this political will very little can actually change.
