We can't repeat the same mistakes in history now that we have civilization or population ending tools, right? Were biologically a design to be competitive and to seek out more for ourselves than our kin. And that drives evolution, that drives economics. If we have nuclear bomb s and a high school kid can engineer virus, then we can't really allow those things to occur any more if we want to sustain long term.
