The Problem With Nouns, Verbs and Adjectives in English
I've been working on this particular topic basically for my whole career. And so I've had a lot of time to debate this with generative linguists and also non-generative linguists who find what I do a bit too radical. To say a language has no adjectives doesn't seem to make sense to me because every language has property concepts as well as ways to predicate them and use them as modifiers.
