The Side Spin Rotation of a Putter

distance is more important than aim once we get past a certain point, right? And so, you know, having the ability to control speed is just vital. I think one of the metrics that's really important for most people is the putters design and the stroke pattern and acceleration pattern have a very strong effect on the side spin rotation of a ball. Anything over 10 RPMs of side spin a putt will miss if it's hit that straight, well missed the hole over 10rpms. So reducing that side spin rotation has a lot to do with how that face opens due to the design of it. And then the players need to close it.
