Is There an Effect of Lockdown on Allergies?
Early signs maybe that there might be a slight increase prevalence of allergies further down the line, but that's not actually something that they've detected yet. What we still don't really know is the extent to which COVID interacts with our immune systems and those infections and maybe makes them worse. There are more kids at the same time who haven't had RSV. To some extent it's just COVID has completely disrupted things. So the equilibrium of what viruses happen when has thrown off. But there's quite a few factors that play into that.
