The Importance of Story Structure in Creative Writing
Aristotle thought stories were about plot and that's certainly what Aristotle thought when he was the first story theorist. The trouble is because the creative writing industry has become so immense and spread eagled that the real central points of storytelling have got lost in all the detail. And I think there's one thing that needs to be concentrated on and that one thing is actually two things that are so deeply connected you might as well call them one thing, plot and character.
