Fayetteville's Pre-Approved Pattern Books
The Fayetteville Arkansas City Council is considering approving a contract with architects to create a pattern book of pre-designed homes. The designs aren't required but will be pre-vetted by neighbors and reduced development costs for both the homeowner and construction companies. "It's kind of boring to have a set of the same old buildings in a cookie cutter fashion," says author Salisa Kalakal.
