How to Choose the Right Spells for D&D

It was a constant conversation because we wanted to pick spells that felt classic. One of my favorite spells in all of D&D is press the digitation, but it allows you to do really fun role playing obvious magic. It's aspirational. And the kids are going to dig into the game. They're going to realize for every spell that's here, there's a half dozen more to choose from.
