It's Changed, but It Has Changed Parenting Forever

A mother at my school came into her middle school boys. She watched him play a multiplayer game and he had, of course, the headphones on the microphone. And she realized he was talking to a boy at his school who lived only four blocks away. So they're not just playing a game by themselves, but it's social. Most kids aren't used to going for blocks anymore. They didn't give that up. It just doesn't exist anymore.
