What Is the Archaeological Evidence for Mali?
archaeological evidence for the apogee of Mali was relatively elusive. It's only been since about 2005 when field work which I've been conducting with Sadu Kamara from Mali has been able to discover in fact there is an enormous density of ruins and settlement relating to Mali around Sagu. And we have massive settlements around around Sagu one of them Sorotomo is the second largest known archaeological site in Mali measuring it about 75 hectareswhich is quite substantial. But we still faced with the compared with this country so just for instance like a paper written evidence we are lush in it here it's rather sparse sparse in West Africa.
