The Challenges of Giving Directly in a Conflict Zone
The majority of our work will continue to be delivering larger transfers to the extreme poor and more stable areas. We are increasingly approached by philanthropists, governments and others who want to operate in those areas with cash. But we will also be doing humanitarian climate-related programs for two reasons: both because of the extreme need of those places and a projection that over the next 20 to 30 years, the majority of extreme poor in the world will live in those places.
