"I cheated on Shelby. I had a Belgian cello named Thomas," Emily says of her ex-boyfriend. "We had a little one night stand in Chicago, and then I came back to Shelby" The pair met at an event for storytellers in San Francisco last year. They've been together ever since; he's now married with two children.
