The Spanish Golden Age and Cervantes

The Spanish golden age was a time when print and theatre were in their heyday. The media worked its what we call inflationary media, to overrun the boundaries of what people understand their reality. This is precisely what electronic media are capable of doing in the twentieth and 20 first century. We found that certain authors become very good nd ot at navigating between these two worlds. And then there emerges counter voices, voices like niguel servant who can go into some depth, manage, turn disfranchisement into an extraordinary razor for breaking apart new mediori. That sets up the second half of our conversation nicely.
