What Are Abstract Categories, or What Are Universal Categories?
There's a difference between realism and idealism. The most extreme realists are in the vein of plato, at least. On the opposite end from this view is what's called nominalism. And nominalism says that because we only ever encounter individual things, they're actually like, abstract categories are an illusion.
