I've always worked really well in like smaller groups where you have really strong pairwise relationships. I saw Emily run a couple of cross functional processes that involved wrangling lots of people across the organization many of whom she didn't know before the process kicked off. If something is call it sort of 80% rote work and 20% creative work and then you give them like scaffolding you've taken like six of the load off their plate. They're much more likely to deliver it much more quickly than if they were doing it by themselves.
