Debra Levy talks to Miranda France about her new novel August Blue. The book is set in a residential creative writing course with an oddball group of would-be writers who are all desperate to find their voice. It's author Miranda France interweaves memories of a family tragedy with the daily exercises of her students. And in the process finds a new way to write about memories long buried.
