Doing the Right Thing at the Right Time?
Most animals, in right down to single celled organisms, have to do the right thing at the right time. And it's clear that they don't have the cognitive machinery to have value judgments. But i agree with joe, actually. Even the simplest creatures thay they might not have a conscious or an explicit value judgment system. So i think we need something more.
