Hallowed Be Your Name

Prayer is a longing to see god here and now, to know his tangible presence. In the midst of this particular mess, they started singing in that prison cell. When they sang out in a jail cell, they were dragging heaven into a dark corner of the earth. Praising or hallowing prayer isn't for the emotional, the optimistic or the uber spiritual. It's for those courageous enough to look hard into the darkness with their gaze back to God.
