The Same Concepts and the Same Thinking at the Application Level

If you just have two or three applications that are kind of out there, and maybe one talks to the other in a certain way, that's not automatically a system because they don't know they're in a system. And so architecturally, if they're not developed and tested, knowing their part of a system, then they're just independent applications that might depend on one another. The same concepts and the same thinking at the application level is elevated and applied to the system level. If you get the devops thinking for an individual library, then you can scale that all the way up.
