The guesta is a complex document, and like all our records, it's not perfect. But this has never stopped historians from using it for insight into other parts of this story. We do have to focus on hairword and a few other figures, because those were the figures that the scribes and later writers deemed noteworthy. And as such, they're the people we know the most about. Don't forget Turfrita, and also don't forget any of the other unnamed men and women whose lives and efforts were just as important.
