The Difficulty of Electricity

Australia is leading the world on the uptake of solar on our homes. The biggest power station that exists in the national grid at the moment is the combined effect of solar on the rooftops of all of our homes. That's a 20 gigawatt generator as we're sitting here today and another 3 gigawatts is being added to that each year in terms of capacity. But while governments are sort of getting behind it now there is also talk about well it's not that easy, it's complicated, it's costly, it's not a like for like swap out.
