Francine Cevallos: Why do we need a specific theoretical explanation for what EMDR is? And so that's what we're going to kind of talk about today. She begins to share the lineage, the research lineage of where that comes from and that's kind of where we find ourselves in chapter one and pages 14 and 15. In the next chapter in chapter two she continues that articulation of why is AIP so important because back then EMDR was still so new.
