I Promise You, I'll Let You Have What You've Chosen
The line of 118 verse 18 says, the Lord has chastened me sorely, but he has not given me over to death. So what is God doing in the song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32? What's he promising? And he's saying, I promise you, I'll let you have what you've chosen. It can be a hard lesson, but it's a lesson that every one of us has to learn. When we are faithless, he remains faithful just like we heard yesterday.
