What Are the Factors Lying Within Your Theory?
What we are putting on the table in terms of active non alignment, is the policy that countries in the global south should take in the conflict between the big powers. The key point here is not to take sides in any sort of fo dogmatic preempti fashion. There are some issues in which a coun'ty, say in latin america, will be closer to the united states on issues of democracy and human rights. And there are others in which they'll be closer to china on international trade. Right now, what we see is extraordinary in the e states become the champion of what they call fair trade. That used to be an argument that was made in the third world.
