This episode includes discussion of gun violence. One year ago, a white supremacist drove more than 200 miles from his hometown to a predominantly black neighborhood in Buffalo, New York. The next day, armed with an AR-15 style rifle, he killed 10 people and injured three more. Not far from the supermarket is a gym where kids, mostly black girls, learn competitive cheerleading and dance.
