The world of the ear is much different because sound comes at you from all directions at once. It's a sphere, a resonance sphere, and it has less to do with logic and rational connection than resonance in harmony. These different modes of experience lead to very, very different people,. which lead tovery, very different cultures. For us humans and, I guess, by extension, the rest of the organisms, it leads to a very different world.
