The Importance of Having an on-Call Consultant
In the United States, we would call them the attending physician or on-call attending. In England, they also use the term called collapse. Both terms are often used to describe a sudden and severe deterioration in a patient's condition. The defense believes that this is a case of confirmation bias where the prosecution has influenced the medical experts with a theory of harm.
