Lewin's Theory of Groups

Lewin's theory was that there were forces that pushed production in the other way. One is going to work like absolutely, absolutely flat out constantly. Another might have a rational fear that if we start producing 80 units an hour, then management will adjust the minimum target. So what he was trying to do was introduce a group mechanism that could sort of subtly push the group in the other direction.
