The hearings were scheduled during prime time, a category of media that seems to be relevant at least 10 years ago. They created this really dramatic golf between the people for whom this was must see TV and others who just couldn't be bothered. The way Tucker is using the footage is very much savvier, right? It's aimed at his base. And we're just exhausted by the idea from their parents that they needed to watch the hearings for the sake of democracy.
