The Problem Isn't Just Gun Violence, Right?
The first 15 years of the united states were non stop litigation between states to sort out interstate commerce. The federal government is actually just funding programms that are either operated by private interests, like half of our military as basically defense contractors. I'm banking a lot county governments as being the scale at which people can really plug in and start to change things. And i also think, increted increasing, the federal government has no real power beyond the money,. It's usually using money as leverage, essentially blackmailing states to do what they want they want them to do.
