I didn't really notice the racial thing until later on and then it was almost like a movie where you're like watching back all of these experiences you've had. I think that as a 27 year old I'd say I would never do it again but at 22 23 24 I was living with that regret of would my experience have been different if I had just joined a different sorority with better people. The word heartbreaking is so powerful. You can't swap sororities. It's like the idea of that you're like oh well I just lost mine so I'm going to just go into the next one.
