Crocodile Dundee is a classic fish out of water stranger in a strange land formula and honestly this always works. Romantic comedies were getting huge in the 80s and movies like When Heri Met Sally showed how powerful this genre could be. Crocodile Dundee tapped into this and they created a movie that was funny, action-filled, adventurous, romantic, dramatic and ultimately had a lot of heart. All of these components and the charm of Paul Hogan are what drew us in.
