A little humility would be rather good in the public discourse of philosophy and science, you're looking at the big picture. We've now degenerated so that public discourse is full of things that are obviously quite absurd really, but i seem to be accepted by everybody. I think we understand much lessa, we know more data, which is a quite different matter. Information is not knowledge, and knowledge is not understanding, and understanding is not, in itself, wisdom. It's been grossly exaggerated and become a very crude and simplii dismissal of everything that can't be fitted into some pretty procrastian bedor constructed by cod science and cold reason. The world has lost its sense of humour
