Sentinel Node Procedure After Neo-Advent Therapy

If a patient is node positive up front, they're almost always going to get offered the neo-advent therapy. If she was clinically node negative, we could just do a standard sentinel node biopsy after the fact of getting chemotherapy and figure out what to do. The AkaZ1071 trial had shown that for patients that are clinically-indoed negative who get chemo, that the sentinel node procedure is accurate. So it accurately reflects the status of the other nodes with a false negative rate below 10%, which is considered acceptable.
