The Importance of Public Health in Curing Hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is a chronic infection with a virus in your liver that generally doesn't cause any symptoms for years. Many of the people who need this particular cure, many of them are in marginalized communities. The idea that we should wait until people get sick to cure them just doesn't seem like the right answer.
