acetylcysteine can reduce cerebral edema and improve hepatic function. It's like driparidol or ketamine for the liver. About 30% of patients will vomit after the acetylcy Steine infusion. Anaphylaxis in a decent amount of people, 10 to 20% of patients. If they have any signs of severe hepatotoxicity,. admit to the ICU for very close monitoring.
