The Importance of Progress
The way that we use the word progress or progressive, a little word almost wholeheartedly rejected. The fact that increasing numbers of women seek full time work outside of the home is often counted as a sign of progress in a moral sense. We can only call certain things progressive, I would say, by ignoring a lot of the details which make them what they are.
