What We've Learned From the Iraq Debacle?

The Iraq War had so many ramifications that we only just disentangled ourselves in the last couple of years, actually, from Afghanistan. What lessons can we extract from that conflict and from the run up to it that might be valuable as we're trying to assess what's happening in the foreign policy arena today? And perhaps there are specific lessons with respect to Ukraine or perhaps even the growing tensions with China.
