There are these things called mountain bucks, orontain time bucks. It's another local currency used by a couple of small communities. The concept of currency is really just a concept of human labor over time. So currency as a marker of time makes less sense to me. If you have a billion dollars, essentially you're time traveling. You're not losing decades teaching yourself how to build a frig bat cave.
