The Incompleteness Theorem - What Is Your Take on That?
Gertle's incompleteness theorem was a response, say the person you're responding to seems to be laboring under some misconception about what it was doing. It is not the case that the Principia Mathematica was authored by Russell and Whitehead,. among other things, to try and find a foundational basis for all of mathematics. Incomplete meaning you could write down a true statement, true proposition, which had no proof within that system. That's the incompleteness.
