i would say that when one is interacting with people, interviewing them and so on, you've just got to be able to understand a decent amount about the person. Sometimes they don't know those skills are a good fit sometimes. I mean, i'm sure in my life, and i probably could even think of examples, ie, i've interviewed people who are fantastically successful people who i rejected.
