Can a Virus Be More Infectious and Less Dangerous?

Virus could become more or less infectious and more or less deadly. We have a very good vaccine technology that can be up dated quickly to keep us safe, as does the flue vaccine every year. Once it can't spread like wildfires we're seeing now, it becomes endemic. I think once omicrons done, will just be there as a society, there will not be an appetite to continuously down our lives. Summers will be more influenza-like than last two years. And if we're well, we wouldn't be expecting to be wearing masks any more indoors. There won't be mandates for people to wear masks in grocery stores because it's so crowded right now.
