The Importance of Scale in Digital Design
When I think of an object, I'll pick one up from my desk here and obviously your listeners can't see this but I'm holding a pencil sharpener. This is an object that I can manipulate. Well, like Andrew Hinton says it depends on the perspective right. The building is a thing if you're walking down the street and then becomes a place once you go inside. It also depends on scale right. And one of the things about digital is that it's harder for us to grok scale than it is in in the real world. We've been framing these things as other products. But for some of them, at least we can adopt the frame that they are places
