Rails Concerns

Jason: Concerns are essentially Ruby mixings with some additional features. They're an open, inflexible tool that can hurt your code base if you don't use them properly. Some people really dislike them and suggest using alternative design techniques such as object composition. Jason: I think there is an effective way of using concerns.
